“What do you want it to be?”
“I’m hoping to be more than your pony.”
With just a whisper, I put his fears to rest. “You already are.”
His lips find mine and he presses into me. God, his body is perfection, and he smells of soap and peppermint. Suddenly, I’m afraid of what’s going to happen if he decides he doesn’t want to be here. I didn’t think we’d ever be anything more than trainer and pony, but something about Davis makes me want to shield him from the world, hold him close, and never let anyone hurt him again. My fingers are drawn to his hair, and I find myself winding them in his long locks, hanging on for dear life and loving every minute of it. He breathes between my lips, “Tash, no one’s ever been this kind to me. I love you. Love me. Please love me.”
“I do, Davis. I swear I do. I didn’t mean to, but I’m glad I do.” Shifting as best we can, we wind up falling onto the sofa together, his arms gripping my waist, and I sigh into him. “God, you’re perfect.”
He pulls back a little with a startled expression twisting his gorgeous face. “Nobody’s ever called me perfect. I’m a fucked up mess.”
“You’re a long way from a fucked up mess.” I kiss the tip of his nose and he smiles. “You’re beautiful, Davis. Hasn’t anyone ever told you that?”
“No.” The kiss he returns to me sets my lacy panties on fire. “But you’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever been with.”
I just chuckle. “I’m ten years older than you and way too heavy.”
“You’re just right. You have no idea how beautiful you really are.” Those strong arms pull me to him and I snuggle in.
Blissful. That’s how I feel. Everything on this sofa, in his arms, in this room, in this moment, feels right. After all the shit I’ve been put through, there’s a man here with me who’s everything I’ve ever looked for in a partner. The feel of fingers wandering over the softness of my tummy under my shirt makes me go warm all over, and I melt into his touch like ice cream warmed by the sun. With a long sigh he tells me, “I’m your pony. Tell me what you want.”
In a voice louder than I intend, I look up into his eyes and announce, “I want you to be my man right now.”
His face contorts in fear. “I’m afraid to do that.”
“Don’t be. You’ll see―it’ll be fine.” He kisses me and I feel the spark of connection against my hot, swollen lips. When we come up for air, his hardness is pressing insistently against me through my clothes, and I want to feel it against my bare skin. “Let’s go to my bedroom and get on with this.”
His smile is gentle and deep-down, stone-cold sexy. “Lead the way.” It’s hard to keep from running down the hallway. We spend a couple of minutes undressing each other, and when I pull down his pants and boxers, there it is. Holy hell. I drop to my knees in worship and then look up at him, but only for a second. In the next one, I open my mouth wide and drop down over his rock hard rod. “Awwww, shit,” Davis hisses. I just mumble around him. He tries to wiggle away, but my arms around his thighs hold him tight, so he just mutters, “Damn, Tasha, don’t you want any?” I try to shake my head, but it’s hard when you’ve got a cock down your throat. “Tash, stop. I’m gonna come, I swear. Tash? Oh, Tash, please …” That’s the end of his struggle, and his body turns loose, flooding my mouth and throat with his hot creaminess. “God, Tash …”
My lips separate from him with a pop and I smile. “My turn.”
“It’ll take me―”
“No time at all. I promise. Climb in,” I tell him, pointing at the bed. Once we’re settled, I lick up and down his shaft like a lollipop and in about ten minutes, he’s ready again. “It’s your party now, babe.”
He rolls me to my knees, my elbows firmly on the mattress, and rubs his hands around the cheeks of my ass as they shine there. “Oh, lord, girl, you look amazing.” I giggle. I can’t help it. It’s been years since anyone’s called me a girl, and that just thrills me to no end.
“What are you going to do with me?” I force out through my giggles.
I hear him snicker before he says, “I’m going to mount you like the stud I am.” In one swift movement, he’s inside me, and as soon as he hits bottom, his teeth grip the back of my right shoulder. It’s hard enough to make me cry out, but not hard enough to leave a mark or break the skin, and I’m falling into the feel of his hardness sliding in and out of me and his breath on my back. He strokes like a horse on a mission, and I’m closer to the finish line all the time.
In seconds, my body is his, straining around his cock and carrying me away on a landslide of emotions I wasn’t expecting. Tears drip from my eyes, tears of pure joy, and I feel Davis mounting his own climax, picking up the pace of his strokes, leaning back and gripping my waist as he slams into me. And then I hear something that completely dissolves me.
Davis whinnies. Just as he comes, that sound pours from his throat, and I know what that means.
I’ve set Davis Hogan free. And I don’t think he’s nearly as happy about it as I am.
He’s dozing quietly, my head on his chest. When I stir just a little, his arms wrap around me and everything in my world clicks into place in that second. I’m not sure if we just fucked or made love, or a combination of the two, but I’ve never been as happy about being with any man as I am happy to be with him right now. I squirm around a little, trying to escape his grip to go to the bathroom, and when I do, his eyes open slowly and he smiles, then frowns at me. “Where are you going?”
“Bathroom. I’ll be right back,” I promise and give him a peck on the lips.
“Okay. Right back. I’ll miss you while you’re gone.” He snuggles back down into the pillow and I tiptoe into the bathroom.
Once there, I clean myself up a bit and look in the mirror. I look the same as I did earlier, and he does too. But something happened out there, something sweet and wonderful. When I slip back into the bed, he spoons me gently and nickers against my neck.
Damn those other women for telling him how weird he is. I think he’s just perfect.

I need to know what they’re doing out there in that backyard. I decided to wait until they were gone, and it’s Monday now. There’s no one home. I’ve got to figure out how to see inside the fence, but I’m not sure how I’m going to do that.
I wait until after lunch. That way, if they were going to come home for lunch, they’d be finished and gone before I start out. Even though it’s not illegal or anything, it’s still nerve-wracking, wondering if I’m going to find a body or something. Oh, that’s probably not it, I know, but still … what could they be doing?
When I go walking in the evenings, I go through their alley a lot. There’s a bunch of concrete blocks back there, the hollow cinder block type, and they don’t weigh much. If I can pile them up, I can climb on top of them and look over. That shouldn’t be too hard. All I’ve got to do is make sure I don’t fall. Explaining that would be next to impossible, and I don’t want to have to do that.
At around two forty-five, I look out the windows and I don’t see anyone out and about. After I’ve slipped on my comfy tennis shoes, I head out. I just walk down my block, cross the street, then back to their alley and head down there. Sure enough, those concrete blocks are still there, so I set about stacking them in a way that looks safe. I’ve made little steps with them! That should do the trick.
It’s the moment of truth. I just step right on up, and I’m a little confused. The backyard’s just … a backyard. There’s really nothing remarkable about it. But there’s some lumber stacked off to one side, so maybe they’re planning to do something with that.
Well, isn’t that disappointing? I thought surely I’d get some insight into what’s going on over here, but there’s nothing. I’m careful to put the blocks back like I found them so no one will know. All the way back I think about it. I’m certain they’re up to something, and with them working on the fence, I was sure it was back there.
Guess I’ll just h
ave to keep an eye out. Now, all this moving blocks has made me thirsty. Time to do something about that. Sangria, here I come!

It’s stupid, I know, but I’m acting like a goofy little teenager. Feeling the things I’m feeling for Davis is a new thing. Because I get home before he does on Monday, I go ahead and start dinner. I bought a special salad blend for Davis, plus walnuts and dried cranberries to put in his bucket. That’ll be a special treat.
The chirp of his car alarm being set brings me back to base, and I wait for him to clear the door. I want to run and throw my arms around him, but that seems stupid. But the minute I turn and take a look at him, I know something’s wrong. “Bad day?” He just throws himself down in a chair. “What? You’re scaring me.”
“They’re closing our office.”
“NO! Oh, no, Davis! Oh, god, I’m so sorry!” My arms wind around his neck and he wraps his around my waist, pressing his cheek to my chest. “What are you going to do?”
There’s a long hesitation and then he says, “They’re offering us transfers to another office.”
“Here in town?” I’m afraid of the answer to that question.
“No.”
No-no-no-no, this can’t be happening. Not now. I don’t know what to say or do. Finally, I manage to choke out, “So where are these offices?”
“One’s in New York City. One’s in Detroit. Another one’s in Fresno.”
I’m fighting tears when I ask, “Which one do you want to go to?”
Without even breathing, he says, “Whichever one you’d want to go to. And if you won’t go, neither will I.” I guess he hears me sniffle because he says, “This is too important to me―you’re too important to me. I don’t want to be in a place where you’re not.”
The kiss I drop on his crown gives me a chance to take in his scent. He uses a shampoo that smells like lemongrass, and I find it comforting in this moment when I’m feeling pretty shaky and unsure. “I don’t want you to go away,” is all I can get out.
“I’m not going away. But I need a favor.”
“Sure! Anything!”
“Tonight, I just need to be a pony. I can’t handle all this. Is that okay?”
“It’s not okay. It’s perfectly okay. I got you something special today, and now I’m really glad I did. Dinner will be ready in just a few minutes. Do whatever you need to do and I’ll call you when it’s done.”
“Thanks.” He stands and gives me a solid kiss. “I’ll be ready.” I watch as he disappears down the hallway, then turn back to my cooking and sigh. He has no idea the effect he has on me, and I’m jelly, standing here stirring my soup while he tries to decompress.
In ten minutes I make a clucking sound and call out, “Trusty! Come and get it!” I hear him making his way in on all fours and look around to get the shock of my life.
He’s naked. I mean rip-roaring, stark-ass naked; well, except for his knee pads and gloves. Now I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to eat for staring at him. Lord have mercy, that’s a fine-looking pony. And then I remember something. “Want a present?” He just stands, head down, and I know he’s slipped away. But I have to show him this before I do anything with it. I come back with a small package and a pair of latex gloves. “Look what came today!”
The box opens to what appears to be a long hank of hair, but I pull it out and show it to him. It’s a butt plug with a horse’s tail attached. That’s not something you pull on someone without asking them first, I’m pretty sure, so I hold it down where he can see. “Would you like to wear this?” To my shock, he nickers and throws his head up and down. I put on the gloves, pick up the tube of lube I brought into the room with me, lube up the plug, and then lube up his hole. When I start working it in, he sidesteps a little, probably from the discomfort, and then finally stands still while I press it into his ass. It finally slips in and before I can say anything, he sways his hips back and forth so he can feel the tail grazing his legs. He seems perfectly content wearing it, so I just clean everything up and go back to serving dinner. A few minutes later I take a look to see him still standing quietly, but his cock is stiff as a tree trunk. It appears he likes the plug on that tail.
There’s silence except for the sounds of us chewing. For some people, that would be disconcerting; for me, it’s comforting. I know he’s happy and in the zone if he’s quiet. When we’re both finished, I start picking up and cleaning up, and I watch as he plods over toward the basement door. Once he’s here, I glide over and flip on the switch, then open the door. “Go on down. I’ll be down in a bit.” He grips the door facing and stands, then descends the stairs. As soon as I know he’s made it to the bottom okay, I go back to the dishes.
The kitchen’s all cleaned up and the dishes done, so I make my way down the stairs to find him. Sure enough, he’s in his little stall, standing silently on all fours. I brought dried apple rings with me, and I hold one in the palm of my hand and then offer it to him. He takes it gently and chews, occasionally swishing that tail, his dick semi-hard. It seems the tail’s a hit, and I don’t mind at all the forty dollars I spent on it. I suddenly decide that sometime soon, I’ll talk to him about having his cock pierced. I’d love to have him wandering around with an ownership tag dangling from his cock or his balls. Maybe even a bell! That would be awesome.
But not tonight. Even though he’s in pony headspace, I can see he’s stressed. I stroke his head and nose, but he’s still shifting from side to side. There’s got to be a way to help him calm down, but I don’t know what. So I just sit with him for awhile as he stands, head down, and tries to forget the human world. And I decide to try something, so I start to talk to him.
“Oh, Trusty. You’re such a good horse. I know you can’t talk or answer me, but at least I have someone to talk to. Things haven’t been too good for me over the last few years, but they’re getting better, looks like. I have a good job, have this new place to live, and I have a pony, something I always wanted when I was a girl. I wish I had a farm for the pony, but I guess it’s okay that I don’t. I think he’s pretty happy here.” He gives a soft snort, and I just go on. “I want to find him some pony friends to be around, but so far I’ve struck out. But I’ll keep trying.”
And right that second, it hits me. The one place I haven’t looked. “I’ll be right back.” I dash up the stairs, grab a bowl, fill it with water, then run back down and plop it down in his little stable. “I’ve got an errand to run. I won’t be gone long.” I stroke his head and he finally looks up to watch me take the stairs in a rush again.
As I drive, I ask myself why I didn’t think of this before. In the parking lot of the adult store, I slam my car gearshift lever into park and almost run inside. The clerk, a girl I’ve seen dozens of times, looks up and smiles. “Hi! Can I help you with anything?”
“I hope so.” Almost panting, I heave out, “By any chance would you know any people around here who are into pony play or puppy play?”
She nods. “I do, but of course, I can’t just give you their contact information. But if you want to leave yours, I’ll ask them to contact you. Would that be okay?”
“Perfect!” I take the scrap of paper she offers me and scribble out my name and phone number. I also add that I’ve got a pony boy and I’m looking for other ponies or puppies for him to be around.
The clerk smiles as she reads it. “I think I know a couple of people who’d be glad to get in touch with you. Just give me a day or two.”
“I really appreciate it. Thanks so much,” I call back over my shoulder as I make my way back to the car. Maybe something will come of this, maybe not, but at least I tried.
I’m three blocks from home when my phone rings, and I look to the screen to find an unfamiliar number. Slipping into a parking space at the edge of the street, I hit “Answer” and say, “Hello?”
“Hi! Is this Tasha?”
Heart pounding, I almost whisper, “Yes.”
“My name’s Tamika. I go
t a call from Leslie, the girl who works at the adult store. She said you’re looking for some ponies for your pony to pal with?”
“Yes! Yes, I am.”
“I’ve got a pony boy, and I’ve got several friends who do too. And we’ve got friends who have puppies. We get together twice a month. Would you be interested in coming to meet us?”
It takes everything I have to keep from breaking down into tears when I answer, “Yes! Oh, yes! We would! Just tell me where and when.”
“Actually, this Saturday is our Saturday. I need to contact all of them, make sure it’s okay with them to let someone new in, so once I’ve done that, I’ll give you a call back. Is that okay?”
“That’s great! Thanks so much, Tamika. Thank you.” When the call ends, I’m still so excited I can’t stand it. I don’t know whether to tell Davis or let it be a surprise.
And this time, I think surprise wins.
“Where are we going?” He just keeps asking me that, and I keep trying to tell him to let it go.
“Just do as I ask and you’ll be glad. Please?” I hand him his brown neoprene shorts and gather up his pony gear.
“Please …” he starts, then stops.
“Please what?” When he doesn’t answer, I ask again, “Please what, Davis?”
He stares around, kind of like he’s lost, before he finally says, “Please don’t make me go back with those people. I will if you insist, but I really don’t want to.”
I grab his chin with my hand and pull his face toward mine, but he’s still averting his eyes. “Hey, look at me!” When he doesn’t, I shake his chin and repeat, “Look at me!” His eyes finally meet mine and I tell him plainly, “We’re not going back there. I won’t do that to either of us.” I’m shoving stuff into his bag and muttering, “Take videos of you breeding his mare? I don’t think so. Not happening. Over my dead body.”
